I received my law degree from the University of New Mexico (1978) and practiced from 1978- 1983 in the areas of real estate and public utility law. I began my real estate career in 1984. I was the Chairman of the NM Real Estate Commission in 1987- 1988 and have served on numerous boards and committees. I happily opened Kate Southard Real Estate in 1991. This diverse background provides me a wealth of contacts and the ability to get results!

As a top producer in the Albuquerque real estate industry for many years, she is well equipped to handle the rapidly changing and complex details of the real estate business.
